Costa Mesa has aptly been named The City of the Arts. With Segerstrom Center for the Arts and South Coast Repertory at your doorstep, you have a multitude of musical and theatrical options to choose from. And luckily for you, they’ve thought of the kids.
Beginning January 26, 2018, South Coast Repertory is featuring Junie B. Jones is Not a Crook in their Theater for Young Audiences series at the Julianne Argyros Stage.
Adapted from the book series by Barbara Park, Junie B. Jones is Not a Crook brings “the world’s funniest grade-school know-it-all” to the stage. With a run time of 90 minutes or less you have a good shot at keeping the kids in their seats. The show is recommended for children in Kindergarten thru 6th grade. No children under the age of 4 will be admitted.

Show Synopsis: Junie B. is convinced that someone stole her furry black mittens at recess. So, when Junie B. finds a cool pen on the floor, it’s Finders Keepers, Losers Weepers. But why does she keep having those bad dreams? Will she ever get her mittens back? And will she win over the new boy in Room 8?
