If your kids haven’t yet experienced Camp James for themselves, chances are they’ve heard their friends talking about it, or you’ve heard your mom friends raving about it. Camp James is THE day camp to experience, and has been around for over 25 years. In fact, it is consistently voted #1 Day Camp in Orange County by readers of ParentingOC Magazine.
Camp James has earned their stellar reputation by providing a camp experience that keeps the kids AND parents happy. With regular camp hours from 9am to 4pm (and options for extended hours), its the perfect solution for working parents or a great way to break up the long summer. To get the most variety out of all the activities offered, it is best to attend a week at a time, but there is flexibility in scheduling.
Campers are grouped according to age, and are rotated through various activities like archery, go-carts, kayaking, laser tag, martial arts, miniature golf, rock climbing, swimming, stand up paddleboarding, the water park and more. For safety reasons, some activities are restricted to certain age groups, but Camp James has a variety of entertainment for campers aged 4 to 17.
A great way to check out the beautiful spot Camp James calls home is to stop in at one of their FREE Open House events. Explore the camp grounds, sample a variety of activities, and meet the enthusiastic camp staff. The three remaining Open Houses for this year are:
Saturday, April 13th from 10 am – 1 pm
Sunday, May 19th from 11 am – 2 pm
Wednesday, May 29th from 4 pm – 6:30 pm
