This day and age, it is all about the coding. Thankfully, the Newport Beach Public Library has your back. With three FREE hands-on workshops scheduled thru November, you and you children ages 5-10 can learn simple coding techniques.
All programs are FREE and require no registration. However, attendance is on a first-come, first-served basis and is limited by room capacity. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Kodable
September 11, 2018 | 4-5 pm
Special hands on workshop introducing kids to fun programming logic. Using Kodable on iPads, children (ages 5-10) will learn to sequence and think logically with introductions to the step-by-step problem solving involved in programming. All materials provided; please feel free to bring your own iPad. The Kodable app is available to download for free (iOS only).

Scratch Jr.

Daisy the Dinosaur

Special hands on workshop introducing kids to simple coding techniques. Using iPads, children (ages 5-8) will animate Daisy using drag and drop commands creating their own programming sequences along the way.
