Did You Know About the Fire & Ice Festival? - Newport Mesa Moms
You may be familiar with Newport Dunes and their spectacular Lighting of the Bay, but did you know that this year they are also hosting the Fire & Ice Festival WITH Ice Skating?!  On November 24th from 4pm to 9pm, the kick-off to a magical holiday season begins with opening night.

Lighting of the Bay

At 6pm, watch Santa flip the switch on the 33rd Annual Lighting of the Bay with more than fifty holiday light displays floating on the bay.

Ice Skating

Scenic Outdoor Ice Skating Rink Opens Friday, November 24 at 2:00 pm. Ages 3 and up.

Friday, Saturday & Sunday: 10 a.m. – 9:30 p.m. (last skate session starts at 8 pm)

Monday – Thursday:

November 27 – Dec. 14: 2 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
December 18 – Jan. 1: 10 a.m. – 9:30 p.m.

Fire Pits & S’more Kits

Roast marshmallows for s’mores and cuddle up around the fire.

Tree Shopping

Take home the perfect tree.  The Christmas Tree Lot opens on November 24th and is open daily from 10am to 9pm.

PLUS, with live entertainment, fire dancing, a holiday inflatable garden, and the Igloo Bar with festive sips and snacks, the Fire & Ice Festival will be a perfect celebration of the season.  Open from November 24th thru January 1st, you can find out more regarding timing of certain events here.

Admission to the Fire & Ice Festival is free and open to the public (with fees for parking).  Ice skating, concessions and holiday trees are available for purchase.
