With Halloween on Thursday, and teachers wisely choosing to hold a staff development day on Friday, you are looking at a 3-day weekend of oversugared children! Best of luck to you. 🙂
Good news . . . if you are looking to get the kids out of the house for a few, consider heading over to the OC Fairgrounds for Jurassic Quest, a dinosaur adventure for the whole family. This is the first time Jurassic Quest has come to Costa Mesa, and they are bringing with them over 80 life-size dinosaurs. Kids and adults alike can interact with life-size animatronic dinosaurs, and even ride a few. Kids can also uncover fossils in a “fossil dig,” learn fun facts about dinosaurs, and make a variety of different crafts. And of course, what kind of event would it be without face painting and bounce houses.
You can find out more about Jurassic Quest, or purchase tickets in advance, here. General admission tickets cost around $22. Kids VIP Passes are available for around $36 and include unlimited rides and activities. Don’t forget parking at the fairgrounds will also cost you $9.
The event runs this weekend only, November 1st – November 3rd.
