October is here and that means one of our favorite events is back – The ENC’s Fall Faire & Pumpkin Patch! On October 14, 2018, from 10am to 3pm, join the neighborhood in celebrating the season.
Among the Highlights:
CRAFTS | The ENC is well known for their awesome craft crawls. For a $5 fee, children receive a canvas bag and can participate at the various craft stations set up throughout the nature center. The kids love walking the trails to the next station.
PUMPKINS | The ENC’s pumpkin patch is a great place to pick up that family pumpkin or two. Skip the grocery store pumpkins; all proceeds benefit the ENC’s environmental education programs.
GAMES | Nothing says Faire like games. This year’s games include Trash Tumble, Froggie Flip, Pancake Picnic and more. Winners are eligible to enter to win prizes in the children’s auction.
FACE PAINTING | Stop by the face painting booth to get spooktacularly decorated before you head to the pumpkin patch for a family photo op.
PONY RIDES, PETTING ZOO & LIVE ANIMALS | Do your kids beg you for a horse? Always want to visit the zoo? Have lots of questions about animals? Drop by the petting zoo and hitch a ride on a pony for an experience to remember. And be sure to check out the hawks and owls brought on site by the Orange County Bird of Prey Center. These beautiful creatures are AMAZING to see up close!
FOOD | Local restaurants like SOHO Taco, Greenleaf Chop Shop, Kean Coffee, Plums and more will be on site with food for sale.
And with tunes from the Sweetwater Creek Band and the Laguna Beach DJs you’ll be in no hurry to leave.
Parking can be difficult at times so consider walking or riding your bike if you live close. Otherwise, check out this map for alternative spots.
