THE HOSTS
Civic Center Concerts on the Green (Newport Beach)
The City Arts Commission presents another series of “Concerts on the Green” during the summer of 2018. Concerts on the Green will be “on the Green” at the Newport Beach Civic Center, 100 Civic Center Drive, Newport Beach. Concerts begin at 6 p.m. and end promptly at 7:30 p.m. and are free to the public. Bring your low-slung beach chairs and a picnic dinner or purchase food from gourmet food trucks.
Concerts in the Park (Costa Mesa)
Concerts in the Park take place each Tuesday evening in July in Costa Mesa Fairview Park (2525 Placentia Ave.). The free series features live music, gourmet food trucks, a beer and wine garden, and children’s activities. The event pre-show begins at 5:00 p.m. with the show starting at 6:00 p.m.
**Argyros Plaza in Costa Mesa will also host a Summer Jazz Series on Fridays thru the summer, beginning June 22nd. Click HERE for the line-up.

Matt Mauser, a Celebration of the Music of Frank Sinatra
Matt Mauser and Pete Jacobs capture Sinatra at the height of his career when singing with The Count Basie Orchestra in Las Vegas. Matt’s vocal style and Pete’s genius as a conductor are a tribute to the two greats coming together.

The Fenians
For over twenty five years, The Fenians have delivered their potent mix of traditional Irish folk and good old rock n roll all across the USA and Ireland. With an ever expanding set of original creations, as well as contemporary and traditional tunes plucked from the panoply of the genre, these five lads put on a live show that is second to none. Their foundation is decidedly Celtic, but there is no mistaking the complimentary influences of Rock, Folk, Bluegrass, Jazz, and World music.

They boast a line-up of five lead singers and multi-instrumentalists; which not only possess and rivals the musical talents of the actual Eagles, but have been used to play with members of the Hall of Fame band itself. Desperado was founded in 2002 by lead singing guitarist and keyboardist Aaron Broering.
