By now you probably know that tickets for Hamilton – An American Musical, went on sale and were in high demand. It is an amazing show and should be on your must-see list (thanks to my theater-loving mom, I saw it when it was in Los Angeles). But my kids did not/will not get the chance anytime soon, and they know almost all the songs by heart (they skip the bad words, I promise 😉 ). So we are beyond thrilled to hear that Segerstrom Center for the Arts is bringing Hamiltunes: An American Sing-Along to Argyros Plaza on March 31st from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.
This FREE event will be hosted by three-time Emmy Award-nominated Broadway conductor, pianist, comedian, writer and SiriusXM Broadway channel deejay, Seth Rudetsky.
Join your fellow Hamilton fans and sing-along from the audience. There are even a few opportunities for children to lead songs from the Argyros Stage. If your child would like to be considered to perform a solo role, they must sign-up in advance and answer a few questions. No previous experience is required. You can sign-up HERE.
See you there! (I will be the mom singing loud AND completely off-key!!!)
P.S. Costumes are encouraged.
