Home Depot Workshops for Kids | Newport Mesa Moms

Love Halloween, but kind of ready to move on?  Well you are in luck because the first Saturday of every month, Home Depot hosts their FREE Kids Workshops, and they are a blast.

This Saturday, November 3rd, you can celebrate and honor all who have served our country in this hands-on Veteran’s Day focused workshop. You and your child can build a custom model military helicopter and perhaps spark a conversation about fighting large fires, moving troops, getting supplies to ships, and transporting patients. Once the “helo” build is complete, your child can decorate it with paint and stickers. All kids get to keep their craft, receive a FREE certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last. Children must be present at the store to participate in the workshop and receive the kit, apron, and pin.

In addition to the regularly scheduled workshop, an additional workshop will be held on Saturday, November 24th and will feature a gingerbread man ornament that doubles as a picture frame.

Both workshops run from 9:00am to 12:00pm.  You can drop by at anytime, but the workshops are popular so arriving on the earlier side is recommended to guarantee a craft kit.  Click HERE for more information.
