IMAGINOLOGY is back at the OC Fair and Event Center April 12th thru the 14th. This is one of my favorite events. When I decided to take my girls one afternoon last year, I thought we would spend an hour there and be done with it; I was so wrong. We were there for HOURS, and were entertained for every minute of it.
We listened to the buzz of a swarm of bees, got a lesson from a blacksmith, hand-stamped our own leather bracelet, practiced some chest compressions on a dummy, petted some large tortoises, sewed a mini dinosaur, and made a butterfly craft with light-up antenna. And there was more, so much more that we could have explored, discovered and observed.
If you are around for the tail end of Spring Break, I highly advise that you make an afternoon or even a day of this. Admission is completely FREE. While some activities cost a small fee (ie. making a leather bracelet – so worth it), most are free. Parking is also free on Friday, but does cost $9 on Saturday or Sunday.
