This Saturday, November 4th, bring the kids by the Central Library to make “beautiful” centerpieces for your Thanksgiving table. Don’t spend money on those expensive flower arrangements this year, let your kids get creative.
The event runs from 12pm-3pm (drop-in anytime) and is designed for kids ages 3-8.

And if you happen to be feeling particularly adventurous this year, consider handing over ALL the decorating responsibilities. Give the kids $10 (or whatever dollar amount you choose) and let them shop Target, Michaels or the Dollar Store. They might just surprise you (and if not, at least you didn’t have to do it yourself).
