Whether you want it to be over or not, summer is coming to an end. TIME TO CRAM IN A FEW MORE THINGS. Here are a few of our favorite ideas for a summer day:
THE BEACH (Newport Beach & CdM)
Obvious, I know, but with most school districts back in session already, the beach will be relatively empty and parking easier to find. Not to mention that beautiful weather.
TANAKA FARMS (Irvine)
Last week for melon tours at Tanaka Farms. Who can resist delicious watermelon?
SAWDUST FESTIVAL (Laguna Beach)
This Artists and Makers Festival runs thru Sunday, September 1st.
FUN ZONE (Balboa)
Summers in Newport Beach as a kid meant running around the Fun Zone for me. Some things don’t need to change.
KAYAK / PADDLE BOARD (Newport Beach)
A super fun way to explore the bay. We’ve seen a lot of jumping fish this summer! Check HERE for some rental spots.
ADVENTURE CITY (Anaheim)
Skip the long lines, expensive tickets and huge parks and enjoy a few hours at Adventure City instead.
BALBOA BARS (Balboa Island)
A late afternoon stroll around the Island with Balboa Bar in hand . . . bliss.
COLOR ME MINE (Costa Mesa)
We have way too many hand-painted pottery pieces on display at home, but we have a blast every time we get to sit and paint together at this studio.
