After all that cooking AND eating this Thanksgiving, you will be oh so ready to get the kids out of the house. Bring the whole family to the Lighting of the Bay at Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort on Friday, November 24th.
The event runs from 3pm-8pm and has no shortage of entertainment for the kids. Along with cookie decorating, holiday crafts, hot chocolate and live musical performances by OC Children’s Song Group, Newport Harbor High School Choir and Corona del Mar High School Choir, there will be train rides running from 3-5pm. Santa is planning his grand entrance at 5:30 pm, along with the much-anticipated Lighting of the Bay. And to end the evening, the movie “Arthur Christmas” will begin at 6pm.
The event is FREE and sounds altogether magical.
