For the most part, I love crafts. It’s a great way to spend time with my kids, and sometimes the things we make are pretty cute (others are total Pinterest fails)! But I also “hate” crafts because, let’s face it, sometimes I end up doing most of the work and ALL of the clean-up. Not to mention the fact that I am often left wondering how that simple little project cost me a small fortune at the craft store.
BUT, that being said, most kids love crafts. And it’s actually good for them. Learning to follow directions and/or being creative and doing your own thing are great skills to have.
SO, in honor of Valentine’s Day, I am posting links to three easy and fun crafts (with minimal supplies needed) from mamas who are way more creative than me.
And if you are still not feeling it, fear not – check out these local “crafting workshops” that will keep the mess out of your house.
