Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service | Newport Mesa Moms

“WHAT ARE YOU DOING FOR OTHERS?” – Martin Luther King, Jr.

Now more than ever, we need to ask ourselves this question.  A lot of people start thinking about community service and making donations during the holidays.  Yet sometimes December comes and goes before we know it.  Over-scheduled and exhausted we don’t always get to do everything we set out to do.  The good news is, it’s never too late to be a volunteer!  Community service is a year-round need.  If you are still looking to make donations or get involved, check out our old post on What to Look for in Donating to Charities.

And this Sunday, January 14, 2018 join other community members at Argyros Plaza (600 Town Center Drive, Costa Mesa) for a Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service.  From 12:00pm to 3:00pm come prepare a backpack for a child in the foster system, learn how to get involved in local organizations, and participate in a community art project.  Teach your kids first hand how to make a difference in their community.
